Leylek Terms of Use

  1. Who we are and scope. These terms apply to the Leylek app for iOS and iPadOS, developed by Ahmet Kaplan (İstanbul, Türkiye), referred to as "we". By downloading or using the app you accept them. The app is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA); these terms supplement it. The Privacy Policy is part of these terms.
  2. The service. Leylek helps you organise travel documents, packing lists, daily plans and expenses. It needs no account; your information is stored on your device and, with iCloud sync on, in your own iCloud account. Leylek is not a travel agency, airline or insurer; it makes no bookings and issues or verifies no documents.
  3. Accuracy. Flight times, baggage allowances, exchange rates, seasonal averages, weather forecasts, visa information and passport validity warnings are for information only. Rates come from European Central Bank data (Frankfurter) or ExchangeRate-API and may be delayed. The visa table ships with the app, and countries can change their rules without notice. Packing suggestions are rule-based and not guaranteed to be complete. For important travel decisions, rely on official sources (your airline, the consulate, your destination's official websites, your bank).
  4. Your data and content. The documents, photos and notes you add are yours, and you're responsible for them. When you add details of people you travel with (such as passport numbers), make sure they know. With iCloud sync off, your data lives only on your device and in its backup; losing the device or deleting the app can lose your data, and backing it up is your responsibility.
  5. Free plan. The app's core features are free. On the free plan you can have one active trip at a time and up to four travellers per trip; these limits apply when you add a new trip or traveller. A past trip's plan, packing list and budget lock 14 days after the trip ends and open again with Pro; its documents always stay available. Your data is never deleted because of the plan you're on.
  6. Leylek Pro and subscriptions.
    • Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. Prices are shown in the App Store and in the app before you buy, in your country's currency and including applicable taxes.
    • Apple handles the purchase, payment and billing; you're charged through your Apple Account.
    • When a free trial is offered (one week on the yearly plan, if you haven't had one before), the yearly subscription starts and you're charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you cancel during the trial, Pro stays on until the trial ends.
    • Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; the renewal is charged within the last 24 hours of the period.
    • Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings › your Apple Account › Subscriptions, or with "Manage subscription" in the app. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for; Pro stays on until then.
    • Price changes are announced in advance under Apple's rules, and Apple asks for your consent where required.
    • Apple subscription offer codes can give you Pro free or at a discount; a code's conditions come with it.
    • Refunds are subject to Apple's terms and are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we can't issue refunds directly. Your statutory withdrawal and refund rights are not affected.
  7. Changes to the app. We may add, change or remove features in updates. We'll announce in advance any change that significantly reduces what Pro includes; you can cancel your subscription at any time.
  8. Acceptable use. Don't use the app unlawfully or to infringe others' rights. Except where the law expressly allows it, don't copy, modify or reverse engineer the app.
  9. Intellectual property. The Leylek name, logo, illustrations, text and software belong to us or are licensed to us. Licences for third-party data and fonts used in the app are listed in Settings › Sources and licences.
  10. Liability. The app is provided "as is", without a guarantee that it will run uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for decisions made on the basis of information in the app (such as a missed flight, a refused visa application or a problem at a border), for data loss or for indirect damages. Our liability for intent and gross negligence, and any consumer rights that cannot be limited by law, are not affected.
  11. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. The current version is published on this page, and significant changes are announced in the app or its release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
  12. Governing law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers in Türkiye may bring disputes under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 to consumer arbitration committees within the annually set monetary limits, and to consumer courts above them, including those where they live. Other disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the İstanbul Central (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices. If you live outside Türkiye, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence still apply.
